Membrane Process & Controls (MP&C) is pleased to announce the addition of Ben VanKauwenberg as the company’s new Director of Engineering
Ben brings nearly two decades of experience in the food, dairy, and sanitary stainless-steel industries, with a proven record of leadership, process innovation, and customer-focused engineering solutions. Most recently serving as Director of Engineering for a leading industry business in Wisconsin, Ben managed teams of 20+ engineers, oversaw the design and development of major processing systems, and supported strategic growth initiatives for key accounts in the dairy and food sectors.
With a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Iowa State University, Ben has developed extensive expertise in process design, P&ID development, pressure vessel design, pump and valve sizing, and advanced sanitary standards including 3A, USDA, PMO, and ASME. He has also led large-scale projects ranging from mozzarella and string cheese lines to advanced membrane filtration and CIP systems.

His background in both hands-on engineering and executive leadership will play a vital role in supporting MP&C’s continued growth and commitment to excellence.
